is there a way to build a "flying device" (wings/arm leg flappers)
that maybe builds up air pressure that gets "released" musically/tonally?

Yes J I think we can design a flying machine that can use the air presure created by the flapping to produce sound. i am meeting with Sean on Tuesday. I also liked the link you sent about the music machine you saw years ago.
Did anyone read or hear about Stephen Hawking's zero gravity experience, it is pretty amazing. I think we should think about how we can explore his experience in relationship to his connection with flight as it relates to time and space. It would be great to have parts of the text spoken by a machine similar to the one he uses to speak. I was not thinking of performing in this show myself but if there is an opportunity for a cameo I would like to play Stephen Hawking in zero gravity.
and what about speaking into a fan - i used to love the way that sounded
and maybe the doppler effect
OHOH and SONGS songs are used in animal kingdom to do any number of things alert to danger is one
thinking of songs of the underground railroad - alerting runaways to potential dangers
